As per the existing rules for International students in the UK, any student applying for a course need to be in a position to support themselves as well as their dependents during the course tenure without working. This implies, although students may take up part-tiem jobs, the remuneration thus received will not be taken in to account for his/her ability to meet education related expenses, expect for the below mentioned situations:
- In case if the institution (a publicly funded one) where the student pursues his degree itself employs him/her and provides records on the remuneration he/she receives
- When institution itself guarantees that there are jobs available and how much, if anything the applicant will earn.
