New Zealand Immigration Service (NZIS) issues visas and permits to enter the country. Students can avail the required visa forms from the New Zealand Government office (the visa issuing officer) in their country.
Requirements for a student visa usually includes
- A written offer from a recognized educational institution in the country
- Receipt of payment of course fees / Evidence of fees exception
- Details of scholarship/awards
- A complete and signed visa application form, with a passport-size photograph
- You will be asked to pay a non-refundable student visa application fee.
- A guarantee of accommodation - A written assurance
- A valid passport
- Evidence of financial stability
If the course duration is more than 24 months, you have to meet the flowing requirements too:
- Completion of New Zealand Immigration service medical and chest X-ray certificates
- Conduct certificate. You will be advised of the procedure for obtaining these by the New Zealand government office.
